Terms & Conditions.

Last Updated: October 2024. Please read these terms carefully before engaging with Ziply services. By accessing our platform, you agree to the binding arbitration and limited liability clauses outlined herein.

01. Definitions

"The Company" refers to Ziply, a subsidiary of Obsidian Automotive Group.

"The Vehicle" refers to any motor-driven asset provided by the Company, including but not limited to sedans, SUVs, and performance sports cars.

"The Renter" refers to the individual or legal entity entering into the agreement for the temporary use of the Vehicle.

Throughout this document, "we", "us", and "our" refer to the Company. These definitions serve as the baseline for all contractual interpretations.

02. Rental Policies

All rentals are subject to age verification. Renters must be 25 years or older for standard fleet assets and 30 years or older for the Elite Class and Performance tier.

  • arrow_forward A valid driver's license with at least 5 years of clean driving history is mandatory.
  • arrow_forward Vehicles must not be used for racing, off-road driving, or commercial ride-sharing.
  • arrow_forward Sub-leasing the vehicle to any third party is strictly prohibited and results in immediate termination of the contract.

Ziply reserves the right to refuse service to any individual without prior notification if background verification reveals inconsistencies or safety risks.

03. Liability

Warning: Liability Cap

"The Company's total liability under any circumstances shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Renter for the specific rental period in question."

The Renter assumes full responsibility for any damage, loss of value, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period. This includes loss of use revenue while the vehicle is under repair.

Ziply shall not be held liable for any personal belongings left in the vehicle or any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from mechanical failure.

04. Insurance

Standard insurance coverage is included in all rental rates, carrying a deductible of $2,500. Renters may opt for Premium Shield coverage to reduce this deductible to zero.

Coverage is void if the Renter is found to be under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances, or engaged in illegal activity at the time of an incident.

05. Termination

The Company may terminate this agreement at any time if the Vehicle is being operated in a manner that threatens public safety or the integrity of the asset.

In the event of termination, the Company reserves the right to remotely disable the Vehicle or utilize GPS tracking to recover the asset without further notice.
